
Training objectives
Our goal is to train you to become a competent and safe Robinson R22 pilot . Upon completion of the training, you will be able to fly the helicopter independently as pilot in command . This includes mastering normal and emergency procedures, flight planning, and understanding the helicopter's complex systems. Your safety and success are our top priority .


Requirements/Prior Knowledge
You will need a valid PPL(H) or CPL(H) license for the training.
Theoretical training
The theoretical training comprises at least 7.5 hours and provides you with comprehensive specialist knowledge about the R22.
● Structure and systems: Helicopter construction, power transmission (gearbox), rotors and equipment.
● Operation: Normal operation of the systems and their malfunctions, operating limits, flight performance, flight planning and monitoring.
● Safety: Loading, center of gravity, emergency procedures, and additional equipment. This knowledge is crucial for the safe and efficient handling of the R22.


practical training
The practical training includes at least 5 hours of flight time and focuses on the application of what has been learned .
● Acclimatization flight: Familiarizing yourself with the helicopter.
● Procedure training: Intensive practice of normal and emergency procedures.
● Instrument training: Fundamentals of instrument use. The course usually lasts 2 to 3 days . After successfully completing the practical exam, you are authorized to fly the Robinson R22.
