S-300 (HU269)
RotorSky
We operate a Schweizer/Sikorsky S-300, which is primarily based at our location in Krems (LOAG). The Sikorsky S-300, formerly known as the Hughes 300C or Hughes 269C, is a light, multi-purpose, piston-engine helicopter. This helicopter is particularly well-suited for sightseeing and aerial photography.
General information
The Schweizer 300 is used in pilot training, for surveillance and police duties, in agriculture, and in sport flying. Thanks to its three-bladed rotor system, the helicopter is considered forgiving, robust, and reliable. Originally designed as a two-seat training helicopter for military purposes, it meets high standards of reliability. Its standardized control and operating systems allow for the easy transfer of learned skills to larger helicopter models.
