FNPT III MCC Simulator

Our FNPT III MCC shares hardware with our FTD 3 in Linz. Thanks to the dual qualification of FNPT and FTD, we can offer affordable, non-type-specific training.

Generally

A Flight Navigation and Procedure Training Device is very well suited for training procedures that do not require a specifically simulated type. This makes it perfect for instrument ratings and similar training.

Type

The Flight Navigation and Procedure Training course does not have type-specific certification, but it simulates an Airbus H135. The Airbus Helicopters H135, known as the Eurocopter EC135 until 2014, is a light, twin-engine helicopter used for a variety of purposes. It is primarily used in air ambulance services, police operations, and similar roles. In Austria, the H135 is also used by the police and by the largest air ambulance organization, the Christophorus Air Ambulance Association (ÖAMTC).

Training

The generic approval allows us to use the FNPT as a simulator for our PPL(H) and CPL(H) courses. Instrument ratings can also be perfectly trained on our Flight Navigation and Procedure Trainer.
